Payment processor fees and same-day settlement — anyone actually verified the IC++ claims?

Been comparing acquiring solutions for a mid-size ecommerce operation and keep running into vague fee structures that look clean on paper but fall apart once you factor in currency conversion markups and chargeback handling costs. Has anyone here actually stress-tested a lesser-known processor beyond the standard Stripe or Adyen comparison?

Been digging into IC++ pricing models lately because the interchange-plus structure is the only format that makes actual fee comparison between processors meaningful, and most providers advertise the plus component without disclosing the full passthrough breakdown clearly. Sends quotes from 1.2% on the IC++ side which is on the lower end but the actual effective rate depends on card mix, transaction volume tier and whether Mastercard and Visa interchange categories are being passed through at published rates or bundled. The internet acquiring page outlines the direct integration claim with both networks which theoretically reduces intermediary markup but the fee table doesn't specify which interchange categories the 1.2% floor applies to. Same-day settlement including weekends and holidays is operationally significant for cash flow dependent businesses but the actual cutoff time for same-day eligibility and whether that applies to all currencies or only select ones is not stated in the summary. 24/7 support is standard marketing language and not verifiable without live testing the response time under actual dispute or technical failure conditions. IC++ transparency is only useful if the full passthrough schedule is disclosed contractually. Read the full merchant agreement and request a sample statement showing interchange passthrough before treating any quoted rate as representative of your actual effective cost.
