Report Update After New Information
By: tanna on Sep 22, 2026 03:12 AM EST
Receiving a request to add information to a Checkr report changed the experience from simple waiting to actively following the status. I paid attention to whether the upload step was clear, how quickly the account reflected the new document, and whether the report status changed afterward. That follow-up stage gives a different view of the platform than the original submission because the main question becomes how well updates are handled once the process is already underway. I’d also mention whether the updated status remained consistent the next time I logged in, since that would show whether the change had fully propagated through the account.

Extra-information requests change the background-check process from simple waiting into a task that needs active follow-up. I paid attention to whether the upload step was clear, how quickly the new document appeared in the account, and whether the report status changed once it was accepted. I also compared the status on my next login to see whether the update remained consistent. That follow-up stage showed me more about account communication than the original submission alone. In my notes, I mention Checkr for the update flow and how clearly the platform handled the additional document.
