TAP Air Portugal seat swap never processed

Upgraded my seat on a TAP Air Portugal flight online, received confirmation email, yet my boarding pass still shows the original assignment. I refreshed the booking page, logged out and back in, and submitted the change request form again, but no update appeared. I shared my booking reference and screenshot of the unchanged seat map through their support portal, yet heard nothing back. Has anyone succeeded in pushing through a seat upgrade with TAP Air Portugal and finally received the new assignment? Which exact detail convinced their team to complete the change?

A swift fix came by sending every key detail in one seamless report. I noted the six-digit reservation code, captured a screenshot of the seat map showing my old seat, and cited the upgrade confirmation number from my email. Everything went together in a single message via https://tap-air-portugal.pissedconsumer.com/review.html where I explained that the boarding pass hadn’t updated. Under twenty-four hours later, TAP’s support team replied to apologize, manually applied the upgrade in their system, and emailed an updated boarding document. Presenting full booking context, proof of confirmation, and visual evidence unlocked a prompt, accurate resolution.
