Upgrade Request Status Stayed Unclear
By: tanna on Sep 22, 2026 03:11 AM EST
Looking at a Qantas booking after submitting an upgrade request left me unsure whether the request was still active or had already been declined. The original cabin and seat are still showing, but there is no clear status message beside the upgrade. I’d give the booking reference, flight date, request type, and the time it was submitted so support can confirm whether anything still needs to happen before departure.

Upgrade requests are easier to follow when the original cabin still appears but the account does not show a clear decision. I pair Qantas Airways customer service number directly with the booking reference, flight date, request type, and the time the upgrade was submitted. The goal is simply to confirm whether the request is still active, already declined, or waiting for a later decision. I also note the current seat and cabin so the support agent can compare them with the upgrade request. That keeps the question separate from check-in, baggage, or other parts of the reservation.
