Voice changes with a delay
By: treklir on Aug 13, 2025 04:56 PM EST
When I speak through a voice changer, the sound comes with a delay of several seconds. In the game or Discord it is a complete failure - no one understands what I say. I checked the headphones and microphone - everything works clearly. Maybe something with the buffer settings or the program itself. What software would you recommend for real time?

Your voice changer adds several seconds of delay, it’s usually caused by high buffer sizes, inefficient audio processing, or background CPU load. Reducing the buffer/latency settings in the program, switching to a lower-quality real-time effect chain, or using an audio driver like ASIO4ALL can help minimize lag. For gaming or Discord, you’ll want software that’s optimized for low-latency live processing—popular choices include Voicemod, MorphVOX, and similar tools. Many people use either the official Voicemod Pro or explore options like Voicemod Pro cracked, depending on what’s available to them, but for best stability and support, the licensed version is typically the safer bet.
