Hey everyone, I’ve been reading a lot about genetics recently and I’m completely fascinated by selective breeding. It’s wild how humans can take a wild species and completely transform its traits over generations. Most people think of dog breeds like Pugs or German Shepherds, or commercial crops like corn and bananas. But I want to hear about the more extreme, high-tech, or underground examples of selective breeding. What is a species where breeders have pushed the absolute genetic limits to isolate specific aromas, colors, or behavioral traits?
