What Makes Kubernetes Troubleshooting a Key Part of CKA Preparation?
By: Lan Brooks on Sep 30, 2026 05:27 AM EST
Hello everybody, While preparing for the CKA, I found Kubernetes troubleshooting rather tricky because even though I have some knowledge about the commands, it’s still not clear to me which checks should be performed in case of a failure. Specifically, I have been practicing such scenarios in which the pod is either in a pending state or in a failed one. It is quite difficult to determine the source of the problem because it can be connected with resources, configuration, networking, or other things, and I try to learn how to go through a proper troubleshooting process rather than trying different commands randomly. Moreover, I have been using CKA exam questions to practice troubleshooting but I am mostly interested in understanding the reasoning of why this problem occurred rather than just memorizing the answer. Have you prepared for CKA exam before? What troubleshooting issues were most difficult to grasp? Was there anything difficult to understand regarding Kubernetes?
