HI there and thank you for the acceptance My name is Ben I am a Uk citizen but I am currently in Canada on a visitors visa staying with my canadian wife and child .. I have applied for PR but its too soon yet to hear from IRCC. I have a question? If I am in Canada unable to work, but i find a online job would I have to sign up that online job in british pounds and receive british pounds? Thank you Ben

Finding legit online jobs is a struggle—some pay pennies, others never even send payouts. Thought I’d try Shiftsmart since it looked promising, but ran into an issue with my account not tracking completed shifts. No way I was working for free, so I dealt with shiftsmart customer service to figure it out. Took some back and forth, but they finally fixed it. Payments came through, but man, getting support shouldn’t feel like part of the job. Hoping things run better from here on out!

Hi Ben! If it's a non-Canadian online job paying in British pounds, it should be okay, but double-check tax rules for both countries.
