Another Express Entry Draw was held on September 4, issuing 3,600 invitations for candidates to fast-track their permanent residence applications.
The Comprehensive Ranking System score of the lowest-ranked candidate was 463, an increase of six points from the previous draw on August 20. The tie-breaking rule drew from the pool of candidates who applied before August 23, 2019, at 1:33pm UTC.
The Express Entry system gives eligible, skilled foreign nationals a way to apply for faster permanent residence based on their language skills, work experience, and skill transferability. Those who submit profiles are given a Comprehensive Ranking score based on these factors that determines who will be issued an invitation.
As of August 30, 2019, there were 119,042 candidates in the Express Entry pool.
