Two B.C. Tech Pilot draws occurred in the final days of 2019.
Some 83 invitations were issued to foreign nationals working in the tech sector.
The draw on December 23 issued 52 invitations. Minimum scores remained at 90 across all four streams (Skills Immigration Skilled Worker, Skills Immigration International Graduate, Express Entry Skilled Worker and Express Entry International Graduate).
The second draw, on December 30, issued 31 invitations across the same four streams and minimum scores were again set at 90.
For reference, Provincial Nominee Program draws help provinces find newcomers with the right skills to boost the provinces’ economies.
So far, no PNP draws have occurred in 2020.
