One Provincial Nominee Program draw occurred on March 3.

Eighty foreign nationals with tech skills in BC were invited as part of BC’s Tech Pilot. Minimum scores across all four categories were 90, having remained the same for several months.

The Tech Pilot has been extended to June 2020. This initiative helps ensure that BC’s tech sector has enough skilled workers to meet industry demands.

For reference, Provincial Nominee Programs help skilled foreign nationals fast-track their permanent residency status. Invitations are issued based on each province’s labour needs. Candidates are ranked according to their skill sets.
