Saskatchewan and BC held PNP draws last week, issuing 957 invites to skilled candidates.
PNP draws select candidates with the education or work experience needed for an in-demand occupation in provinces to which candidates have applied. The invites will help candidates get their PR faster.
BC’s draw occurred on November 12, inviting 409 candidates through the Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC streams; and 23 candidates through the Entrepreneur Immigration stream.
Minimum scores across all categories stayed mostly the same as the previous draw on October 29. The Skills Immigration - Entry Level and Semi-Skilled category dropped two points to 75. The Entrepeneur Immigration - Base category dropped by one point to 18.
The Saskatchewan draw occurred on the same day, inviting 303 candidates through the Express Entry stream and 222 candidates through the Occupations In-Demand stream. The minimum score for both categories was 69 points, one point higher than the previous draw on October 31.
