PNP Draws Dec 3 - 9

Four Provincial Nominee Program draws occurred last week in BC, Nova Scotia, Alberta and Manitoba.

British Columbia’s draw on Dec. 3 was a Tech Pilot draw issuing 63 invitations to candidates working and studying in the tech sector. Minimum scores for both the Skills Immigration and Express Entry categories were 90 — the same as in recent Tech Pilot draws.

Nova Scotia’s draw took place on Dec. 5 for social and community service workers. Candidates were required to have at least three years of postsecondary education plus English or French language skills, among other qualifications.

Alberta’s draw was also on Dec. 5 — an Express Entry draw issuing 132 invitations. The cutoff score was 400 (the same as the Nov. 6 draw).

Manitoba’s draw on Dec. 6 issued 221 invitations through the Skilled Workers in Manitoba, International Education and Skilled Workers Overseas streams. The lowest-ranked candidates in the Skilled Workers In Manitoba and Overseas categories scored 522 and 718 points respectively.

PNP draws issue invitations to foreign nationals with skill sets matching the provinces’ needs.
