Provincial Nominee Program Draws: August 12—19

Three provinces held new Provincial Nominee Program draws over the last week, issuing a total of 249 new invitations to newcomers in BC, Saskatchewan, and PEI.

British Columbia held a Tech Pilot draw on August 13, issuing a total of 61 invitations to newcomers working in the tech sector, with minimum scores of 90 across all streams.

Prince Edward Island’s draw was larger, issuing a total of 143 invitations to newcomers, with ten Business Work Permit Entrepreneur invitations and 133 Labour and Express Entry invitations. The minimum threshold for PEI’s draw was 112, the same as it has been over the past three draws.

Saskatchewan held two draws on August 15 as well, selecting 105 candidates for its Occupations In-Demand stream and 45 candidates for the Express Entry stream. The minimum score for both streams was 78, up four points from the previous draw on July 24.
