This week, British Columbia and Ontario each held provincial draws, issuing a total of 1,841 invitations.
British Columbia invited 218 candidates to apply for Express Entry on July 9, with minimum scores across the five categories all higher than the previous draw. The biggest difference was in the SI - Skilled Worker category, with a minimum score ten points higher than the previous draw on June 18.
Ontario held its first tech draw on July 12, issuing 1,623 invitations to the province in the largest provincial draw in Ontario so far.
The tech draw targets occupations such as software and computer engineers, programmers, web designers, analysts, and information systems managers, inviting candidates with CRS scores ranging from 439 to 459.
