The University of Regina international student population has almost quadrupled in the last decade, reflecting an overall trend across Canada.
A study by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) showed that the number of international students in Canada has increased by 73 per cent over the last five years.
The change in demographics at the university also reflect larger trends across the country, with students from India making up the largest percentage of the international student body, followed by China and South Korea.
